A Symphony of Horror

F.W. Murnau
Max Schreck, Gustav van Wangenheim, Greta Schroeder
Based on the novel Dracula by Bram Stoker, this silent film classic was hailed by the late Roger Ebert as a horror masterpiece and one of the greatest films of all time.  The Vampire, Count Orlok expresses interest in a new residence and his real estate agent's wife.   Filmed in Germany and backed by a haunting score that is as telling as the story itself.
