Culture Shock: a traveling film series is a fundraising film series that exists for the purpose of providing people a good time through screening events while raising money and awareness to keep our project Helping Kids Together moving forward.  HKT provides fun and educational things for young people to do with their time.

We began "Culture Shock" on September 9, 2011 at Schlafly Bottleworks in St Louis, Missouri and have been screening films monthly for the most part since that time.  We screen an off-beat mix of cult classics and other performance art and called it Culture Shock to help illustrate the value of diversity not just in film but in life in general.  

In 2019 we began our journey as a traveling film series to help people experience places they may not otherwise visit.

We produce this series with help from sponsors and individuals who like what we are doing in addition to the people who support us by attending our screenings.
